Although I can't find it right now, we had a string of correspondence about this issue last year. For what it's worth, I've circulated Millbrook at 164mph in an unlimited XKR convertible. The Millbrook banking scrubs off a little top speed so a true figure is likely to be close to 170mph. Mike.

I know someone who has had his de-restricted XKR up 186mph. I've had my 8's restriction removed and had the ECU remapped, the guys who did it reckon it should be good for over 170 mph now maybe more going on their new rolling road on Saturday to see for real, then later in the month will have it tweaked a bit more :D
