Modern XK Celebrations at Bicester 2021

Hi Everyone,

So by now you know and appreciate that the government relaxation schedule means that the Jaguar Summer Festival cannot proceed in mid-May 2021 at Blenheim Palace, so instead our Super Events Team have acted swiftly to rearrange the Summer Festival for Sunday the 4th of July 2021 and now to be at the Bicester Heritage Centre.

Details are still sketchy, but the outline plan is to have everything that was to be at Blenheim on 16th of May now at Bicester on the 4th of July - all American guests welcome! There will still be a celebration of the introduction of the Modern XK, which means I am still looking to put on an 'impressive' display of Modern XK, both X-100 and X-150, so get emailing me with your details and plans to attend Bicester.

Keep an eye on the website for the appropriate tickets for Bicester - if you bought one day tickets, or weekend packages, the Club will be refunding these shortly, so be patient.

Looking to see as many Modern XK Enthusiasts at Bicester as practical.

Okay, so the day tickets for the Jaguar Summer Festival at the Bicester Heritage Centre on the 4th of July 2021 will be on sale from Tuesday, the 27th of April 2021, so make sure you get your tickets in plenty of time. There will be NO FACILITY to pay your entry at the gate on the day, so be warned. The price has been set at a very attractive £24 per car and its occupants (up to a maximum of 5) - which would be a bit of a squeeze in a Modern XK.

If anyone has not yet received a refund from the JEC HQ for tickets / packages they previously purchased to attend the Jaguar Summer Festival at Blenheim Palace, please make sure you contact the JEC HQ offices to advise them of any omission.

The beauty of Bicester means that I should be in a position to park each and every Modern XK in the display area - if you want to that is - so let's get those cars along to Bicester and really make a display to be proud of. Check the magazine articles / adverts and also the Events pages of the website to get a full flavour of what will be on the programme of our Jaguar Summer Festival - the largest Gathering of Jaguars this year (probably).

Time is running out to buy your tickets for the Jaguar Summer Festival at Bicester on the 4th of July 2021, but a lot of you have already bought tickets and let me know you are coming along to park in an Impressive Display of Modern XK.

From this post you can now be assured that the Jaguar Summer Festival 2021 is ON, and a great day out is planned.

Unfortunately; as a working airfield there are no dogs allowed onsite, the exception being Assistance Dogs, so please leave Fido in the care of a suitable person away from the JSF.

For all those Modern XK owners who receive their tickets from JEC HQ, please note that your ticket will show 'Area F' as your designated parking area, which for clarity IS THE MODERN XK parking and display area.

We are looking at almost 400 Modern XK coming along to Bicester and all going to be parked in Area F, so please be patient when you turn up as we try to get you parked up in the display.
