XK8 WIDTH WITH MIRRORS FOLDED?

Hello all!! I wonder if anyone can help? I am thinking of buying an XK8 (original shape 2004/5) but I need to be sure of the EXACT width of the car WITH MIRRORS FOLDED IN. Some books I have quote 2015mm (mirrors out) and others quote 72" (6 feet) (mirrors in?) This info is vital as I need to know if it will fit in my garage. Thank you for any help. Peter.

Thank you Brakebuster. However inside of my garage is not a problem (double garage with no dividing wall) it's the door frame which is the limiting factor so I need to know the EXACT width (max with mirrors folded in) Thanks. Peter.

In the handbook, Jaguar quotes width as, "1829mm without mirrors" and "2015mm including mirrors". Since cars were always supplied with mirrors, presumably the 1829mm dimension is a clumsy way of meaning with mirrors folded. Mike.

I had the same query before I bought my XK as my garage door width was a standard single........... in my Haynes 'you & your Jaguar XK8 by Nigel Thorley, the Appendix B Specifications page the overall width of all four 4.0 XK8 models...........
XK8 Coupe, XK8 Convertible, XKR Coupe & XKR Convertible was 1829mm & all 4.2 XK8 models as mentioned above had a overall width of 2015mm ............... no mention of 'with or without mirrors'!
It's quite a difference...........11 inches in real money ...........it confused the hell out of me & totally irritated most dealers I asked to confirm it!
