:D Welcome to the Forum. From personal experience as well as the experience of other Forum users I can recommend the use of the Jaguar branded hood kits. Autoglym does one as well and may have been Jaguar's supplier for all we know! The Jaguar kits can be found easily either at Stoneleigh spares days or on eBay. The JDHT did sell off the Jaguar stock for £5 a kit but I suspect you'll probably have to pay £15/£20 these days. Follow the instructions to the letter and your car's hood will respond nicely, looking practically brand new afterwards. Mike.

Hood Treatment with Autoglym

Postby MarkX » Sun Mar 23, 2008 7:48 pm

Barrie

I used the Autoglym kit on mine early last summer and it came up looking pretty good, applying the correct quantity was a little tricky ( think I ended up with slightly less in the container than I should have) but result was nevertheless one of a hood that looked in fine fettle.

Enjoy the car!

Mark
