New XK8 Convertible Member in Derby

Hello everybody out there in "Virtual Jag-Land"
Been a JEC member for 3 years. Got X-Type 2.0D Sovereign as company car + access to friends XJS convertible.
Got Jaguar bug bad and just about to take delivery of early 1997 XK8 convertible.

One question I have, does anyone know a good place to get a tracker fitted in Midlands area??

Hi Welcome to the xk8 owners bug, i got my xk8 in dec, mine is a convertible in saphire blue 1998, i wonder if you have any details of work done on it , like the tensioners , water pump etc, as there are quite a number of issues with early ones, like the nikasll problem, or has yours had a new engine fitted ????and what sort of milage has it done ???
About the tracker i have one fitted but its not activated , as my car only goes out on a sat or sunday and is garaged through 3 doors so its quite safe ,although i have read that one has been stolen in Leicester a green one after they broke in and stole the keys, anyway mine is a TRACKER and i think they come to where you are to fit ,,i have a tel No customer services 01895 811 989 might be worth a call for a quote

Not sure about Tracker, but as you are in Derby, for everything else you need done to your Jaguar, then I recommend Elite & Performance Jags, on Stores Road Industrial Estate. www.eapj.com

They have done a lot of modification work on my XK8 as well as all servicing. See the feature on them in the April and June 05 editions of Jaguar Enthusiast magazine.
