Hello all,

I Joined the club just over a month ago, but as you can see by my signature, I'm not new to Jaguar ownership.

I've owned the RS since late April 2019 and I was very fortunate to find a late registered car (26th Nov 2014) with quite a low mileage (just under 24K at time of purchase).

The car is my daily driver, although since retiring at the end of May and with all that's gone on in the last 18 months or so, I don't cover anywhere near the 12,000 to 15,000 miles a year that I used to.

I'm hoping to attend a lot more shows and days out next year (pandemonium permitting!) and look forward to meeting more Jaguar owners and making more friends.

Welcome to the Club! Viruses permitting, you will find a very keen section of XK members who enjoy using these great machines. Keep your eyes peeled for specific XK events which are advertised here and in the magazine. :D Mike.

Hi Tony, really nice looking machine and to echo Mike's note, welcome to the Club and I look forward to meeting you at some of our events in the near future. Why not drop me a note about your Jaguar journey and we can see if it would make a good magazine article - our readers really like to hear stories from fellow members about their Jaguars and how they came to be.
Cheers

Hi Jim,

Really flattered that you asked, I'll give the matter some serious thought.

I'm retired now, but one aspect of my job was authoring technical manuals, so I'm comfortable with writing.

Just not used to writing the "fluffy stuff"!

Hi Tony, technical stuff is good too. Whatever you feel like putting on the screen (as opposed to on paper) can be worked into a useable article between myself and the editor. Have a go!" Jim
