Good morning - my first post, having just joined the JEC this morning. I have owned a 2009 3.0 XF for three years, and am now in the position to add an XKR to the stable, purely for weekend and day off fun. It's been a slow search so far, as all cars I've seen are shall we say 'slightly different to how the are advertised' - the last one had such an awful spray job and weld repair it would have been laughable had I not traveled to London to look at it. Hoping that membership will put me in touch with the right car. Cheers - Howard

Welcome to the Club! Sadly, 'Buyer beware' applies to XKRs as well as other second hand vehicles. Keep your eyes peeled on the Club's classifieds if you're happy to buy privately. Some beautiful cars change hands as members alter their requirements. The fussier you are, the longer it will take but getting the best possible car will be worth it in the long run. Mike.
