New Member Introduction

Hi Guys
Thought I better do a bit of an introduction, I have been a member for a month or so but been really busy.
I have a few mates that are members and they cojoled me in to joining with explaining the benefits of the club. So clearly I did.
I have owned Jags since 2009.
Currently I have a
2019 240 E Pace
2001 XKR heavily modified convertible
2011 XKR-S convertible
The XKR has just had an engine change to a 4.2 and a twin screw conversion with a pro-M-92 air filter and programmable high flow MAF. I have just started it since the modification and going through some tests.
Brembo brakes, lowered by 50mm, deep dish alloys.
It’s also had many other mods such as remote hood and rear windows. Big HI-Fi install with so serious Amps and speakers. Plus other stuff.
As you can tell I love these cars.

Hi Ian, good to have you on the Forum and in the JEC, welcome. If you would be willing to write up a piece, or 2, on your Modern XK for the magazine that would be really appreciated. You can find my contact email at the top of the Modern XK column in the magazine. You don't need to be a prize-winning author or journalist to pen a piece for the magazine, and I am sure there would be a lot of interested folks out there, keen to hear about your modifications and exploits with your machinery.

Hi guys thanks for the warm welcome.
I need to get used to the forum and how things work for local meets and national ones.
Love these cars they are a life project. So much that you can do with, some of that comes from need to as well.
I will see what I can put together, got lots of photos.

I'm not very technical but is that a Mexican blanket protecting the front of the car?

I think it is, it was my late mums blanket. So l can’t ask, but it did a good job of protecting the nose. Went through all that with no new scratches.
