HI All
I have today purchased my first XK8, it is a 1997 in blue with 121,000 miles on the clock.
First time jag and classic car owner, so going to have lots of questions over the coming weeks/months/years!
Look forward to getting to know you all on here, and hopefully meeting some of you at some stage.
Julie

Welcome to the site and XK8 ownership! They are superb cars to drive and enjoy. Once you think of those questions, don't be frightened to ask. There is a lot of XK8 experience here ready to help.

Hi and welcome Juliemh.
Congratulations on getting your first Jaguar.
I don't think you'll be disappointed with your choice of an XK8.
Luxurious with all the wood and leather and an impressive amount of power as well
.
Post some photo's if you can, would be nice to see your XK8.
Enjoy your car.

Hi
Thanks for the welcome.
We are doing oil etc change at the weekend and then she is going to my mechanic for a pre-mot check (she doesn't have a current MOT after having been sat for a couple of years. I am just hoping that there isn't anything too bad! (Know I need tyres, brakes etc). I like a good challenge!

Hi Julie
I too have just bought my first Jag an S type. Bought it in Chelmsford last Sunday and drove it back to Scarborough on Wednesday. It never missed a beat. Has full FSH from Main dealer who supplied car new. I am sure the Scarborough U3A Classic car group would be interested to see your car. One of the members recently sold his XK8 and bought Triumph Stag
