Bodywork Upgrades

Postby JaguarXKSports » Tue Feb 07, 2012 6:12 pm

Hi All
I have an early XKR and although it is in mint condition with low milage, I am considering changing the appearance of the car slightly with an aftermarket front spoiler such as 'Paramount' supply and fit.

I love the look of the car, but I like the more 'Aggressive' look of the aftermarket kit.
The car already has a full stainless exhaust, which provided a beautiful rumble and roar on take off.

Would you do this to your car, or would it be better 'left alone' with classic Jaguar looks??

Let me know your thoughts please

Regards

Nick

Hi Nick and welcome to the club :D
You could fit an Arden front spoiler to your car and keep the original , or swap the nosecone for a more aggressive style , how about having a word with Tony at Paragon Design , he manufactures and fits a wide range of alternative front nose-cones (he also does the other bits as well !!! )

Hope this helps ,

Nik

An old thread but lets give it a bump. My view is "just do what you feel" to quote a 70`s summer hit band. Personally I like light modding, it personalises your motor without doing irreversible damage. A lot of the body kit "add on" bits can be removed if you change your mind or want to restore the car to factory for any reason - eg to sell it on maybe. If other people have neg comments about your handiwork just put it down to jealousy...
