Quite literally that.

I was driving north on the A34 near Newbury today when the traffic slowed, nothing strange about that except it was the result of a car roof-rack lying in the middle of the road with a large pink suitcase still attached to it.

I expected to see a car a short distance ahead pulled over but there was nothing for many miles. How the 'eck can something that big fall off without the driver knowing?

I doubt it would have lasted in one piece for long with the amount of lorries heading that way. :(

Easily done; car drove off the ship yesterday and it was only when the dockers shouted at the driver that he realised that his caravan had come unhitched on the way off.
