I bid on some interior cream XJ-S bits on the 'Bay as I thought there might be something of use in the bundle and it was quite local to me which would save postage. I was suprised when I won it for 99p.
It turned out to be doeskin and for an XJ40
so not much use to me, but for a quid I didn't want to complain so I loaded up all the bits and pieces into the Berlingo. Another suprise when the chap appeared with the complete rear seat and a passenger seat as well which was all included but not in the listing.
My computer chair had been falling apart for a while now, most of the seat and foam rubber has disintegrated so I decided to marry the Jag seat to the office chair base. I removed the seat mechanism along with all the electrics and any unwanted parts, then modified the swivel chair by welding on angle iron. The base construction is shown below.

The project was quite easy and a great success, so I'm now typing this in supreme comfort with that lovely leather aroma all around
