Removed the engine this morning.............

from a 2ltr Mondeo

my m8 is building a Caterham 7 , and bought a really nice Mk2 model estate just for the engine,

so we spent three hours this morning ripping its heart out , lol

went surprisingly well to be honest, little trouble separating the gearbox , but got there in the end

no ancillaries were required, not even the exhaust or inlet manifold, as it will have carbs on and a custom zorst , and the engine will be mounted in the front driving the back wheels so a new gearbox is to be used

Vince

Any work planned on the engine before it goes into the 7?
