I expect many will laugh at my Berlingo, but I must say it really is an excellent 'all-round use' car. Un-clip the three rear seats and it will easily consume two adult mountain bikes or even a XJ-S bonnet! How many cars can do that?

OK, its no Jaguar, being built for a completely different use altogether but with only £125 road tax and over 56 MPG (Genuine over mixed motorway and town use – see below) it is cheap to run. It has Air conditioning as well, feeble compared to the Jaguar, but welcome anyway.

So, a worthy addition but not a replacement for an XJ-S. Just don't buy one in red unless you have a black and white cat and your name is Pat!

i'm impressed m8

as i hunted high and low for someone to transport my new bonnet a few years back, but it was just too big to fit into any car ,

had to pay for a large transit to do it in the end.......

must be something about Jaguar white bonnets, lol
