its a mile down the road, which is great news for the Jag , as i have put 24k miles on her in just under two years, and i didnt know how much more she was willing to give me without any troubles
i am self employed at the moment, and specialise in electrical maintenance and ppm's
( preventative planned maintenance ) ,
i have recently ( last two years ) worked for Rolls Royce turbine engine plant in Bristol, then BEA Bristol where the new A30 wings etc are being made, and most recently, the NHS at Frenchay hospital, again in Bristol, this has been a 35 mile trip each way every day....and its begining to add up
recently , i had to enter an opperating theatre while there was a patient on the table having plastic surgery to his/her face, and replace the high intensity lamps in the operating lights , you know the ones, they hang over the table and the surgeon moves them to see all the good bits.....i had to fully ' scrub-in and gown up '
, luckily i'm not at all squeamish......lolthe new job is for Barclays Bank Data Centre in Gloucester.......again, planned maintenance
i'm hoping this will see me through the lean times ahead......
