Just finishes watching Car SOS. V12 XJS from the 1980's being the subject matter. Might be of interest to others.

Yes i saw that episode, good to see one saved i suspect the cost of that build would have been more than the value at the end so glad the show picked up on this one and kept it on the road. they seem to show less and less of the work on SOS now and more of the pick up/driving other cars and companies involved than the actual work but still enjoy it.

The other week with the fiat x19 and the guy died before finished was really sad.

Hello Lastmin,
If you would like to see more of the workshop stuff on Car SOS check out their You Tube page:
https://www.youtube.com/c/CarSOS/videos
Or their Facebook page:
https://www.facebook.com/carsosofficial/
They always put longer tech stuff on that they can't fit into the programme.
Be careful though as you can lose a whole morning(or day) just watching their videos
Enjoy and take care.
Andy :D

Just watched this episode. Like all of this series, more of the work on screen and less of Tim Shaw pratting about would be a big improvement!
Interesting car - had me fooled for a bit. Wasn't paying attention and thought it was an HE because it has lattice alloys and the later bumpers as well as some wood inside but on closer inspection it's a pre-HE that's been made to look like an HE. I didn't pick up until later that it's a 1980 car.
It came out well I thought and I hope the owner is getting good use out of it. Does anyone know the car or the owners? It would be good to get in touch and do a follow-up article.
