Dear All

Recently I had the pleasure to go to Northern Ireland with work on the Emmerdale "Go-Loopy" Challenge at The Ulster Flying Club, see here

http://www.itv.com/Soaps/emmerdale/vide ... fault.html

It was my first visit and I loved the area and the people were so friendly that Libby and I are are going back for a short break in a couple of weeks time staying near Belfast (Newtownards).
I'm looking forward to taking the XJS around the Antrim coast road to Giants Causeway. :D

Anyway, can any locals (or non-locals) suggest Jaguar or Classic car related places to visit or things not to miss whilst we're there?
I searched the net for any likely looking classic car dealers for a bit of recreational tyre-kicking but couldn't find anything

Any other worthwhile places to go hints/tips much appreciated

Best Wishes

Dear All

Back home safe and sound on Wednesday evening after a slightly choppy return ferry from Dun Laoghaire to Holyhead. Only problem a puncture from a screw, repaired by Qwick Fit for £10.00.

Only saw two other XJS's on the whole trip, a red twin headlight conversion on Sunday near Strangford Loch and an N-reg coupe which we passed on the A55 just after The Menai Straits Bridge en route home.

Causeway Coastal Route to Giants Causeway is an absolute MUST.......fabulous scenery. :P

Total mileage 1176, total fuel 191.75 Litres giving an overall average of 27.9mpg. Best leg, South Glos to Stranraer 30.06 mpg. Not bad for an old gas-guzzler!
