EU backs ending daylight saving time

A good idea in my opinion, as long as we can stay on BST. More light in the winter evenings is of more use to me then in the morning and it will save all that fiddling about with watches and clocks twice a year.

I'm with you on this. Why bother changing the clocks,and everything else twice a year.

That said. I expect sometime after the end of March (2019) that we will be going back to the good old days when when we even had time zones across England. Did make train timetables a little awkward but then again etc.
