I assume you mean a Getrag 265 gearknob?

If so, Black Cherry Jaguar seem to have a very worn black one at £120.

Conversely they have a new Savile Grey one for a Getrag 290 box for £125.

If it is a 265 box and you want to spend that sort of money, I'd be minded to buy the new 290 knob, dye the leather accordingly and get someone to make up the correct top decal with the left-side Reverse position.

Yes yes 265, my phat thumbs having trouble with the key board... Those prices are a bit tasty, rather use an illuminated Skull gear knob then pay that price...

I got some xjs door hinges drivers side both top and bottom for something like £30 and he removed them in advance for me.

So recently I had my getrag 265 gear knob refurbished successfully for less than £100.

The company (Pride Customs - Walsall) were able to clean-up the cap and replace the leather.

I am pleased with this as the original gear knob has the correct weight/bulk to ensure a better change. I was let down badly by another supplier who sells aftermarket wood veneer effect gear knobs that did not last and (second time around) supplied something that was not fit for purpose.
