I guess the engine problem must have been caused by the meticulous second owner, it couldn't have been the mechanically-sympathetic driving of Mr Clarkson, could it?.......

Either way, I'm happy with my little SLK
Took it for a trip through the Welsh Hills today and explored Manual box option on the paddles...
Wow! It's soooo quick, better even than Sport auto, it has that lovely burble/bark/cough/spit on the overrun as you drop down the box hard entering corners and wails wildly as you accelerate hard from the exit......
Top down, sun shining, a fantastic day out :D
