1991 4.0 Facelift Coupe - Excellent condition & custom paint

Hi All

Sadly, due to needing a new family car, My recently restored 1991 XJS 4.0l facelift coupe is up for sale to fund this.

Full Years MOT and 5 months Tax, 98500 miles.

I have done lots of work on this car over the last year, including all bodywork repairs such as, A Pillars rust cut out and new metal welded, windscreen removed and pillars repaired followed by new windscreen fitted, rust cut out from both wings and new metal welded, drivers side outer and inner wheel arch removed and refitted with oem jaguar repair panels. both rear quater panels replaced with fibreglass panels as not to rust again.

The body repairs have been finished with a quality custom three stage respray in an eye catching 'Toffee Apple' finish, specifically full primer coating, followed by extra deep black basecoat topped with deep red metallic sparkles buried in five coats of high gloss lacquer. The finish really suits the XJS and has provoked numerous positive comments both in public and at last weeks JEC Anniversary Rally.

The interior is Doeskin and in good condition, a little bit of rubbing on the drivers side seat bolster as is common on leather seats, although this XJS benefits from a new headlining so n worries about the usual sagging issues common with XJS's.

The engine and gearbox and mechanicals are in excellent condition and for this MOT a replacement front subframe has been fitted, being rust treated and painted prior to being fitted to help protect it and lengthen the life of it. All bushes are in good condition, although the drop link ones would benefit from being changed.

This car, with the previous long term owner also being an JEC member has been well looked after, and all recent works have been done to benefit the car with the aim of long term ownership, and it is sad that it must be sold, but hey, such is life.

Offers in the region of £3,500 which is much less than the book value.

Ready to buy, drive, show and enjoy.

Not sure how to add pictures on this forum, pm with email and I will email pictures.

Thanks

Chris
