Do you mean the chrome ones which were an option on Celebrations, or the non-chrome ones which were not fitted to Celebrations?

If it's the chrome ones, you'll probably have to look to the USA to get a decent set. It's almost impossible to find a perfect set for sale in the UK now.

Mark,

In that case, there are two types of wheel that will fit.

There are the 5-spoke that were fitted to AJ6-engined XJSs. These have a "groove" across each spoke at the rim end of the spoke. They were originally painted silver and fitted up until March 1994.

In April 1994, the wheel was changed such that it didn't have a groove across each spoke. These wheels were fitted from the introduction of the AJ16 engine up until the cars were designated "Celebration", after which the wheels were not fitted as standard. These non-groove wheels were diamond-cut and lacquer-finished.

The earlier wheels are much easier to find. Also many of the later wheels have been incorrectly powder-coated when refurbished.

Hope that helps. Good luck with your search.

These are the 16" wheels that were fitted up until March 1994.

From the photos, they look well-finished as they are prone to getting corrosion on the inner faces. Not too bad a price as you'd pay £40 for a tatty rim that needs refurbishing anyway.

At less than £100 per corner the buy it now option seems attractive.
With 29 days to go they could go up or down but the price now does seem reasonable and solves your problem.
