Having only had limited chances to use my XJ-S over the past year, I have decided to sell her.
Here is a unique V12 XJ-S. 1983 converted to a 5 speed manual gearbox, which releases more of the pwer than the original 3 speed auto box. A stainless steel sports exhaust and enlarged throttle bodies (from AJ6 engineering) enhance both the sound and the performance. It drives and sounds very different from a factory spec auto V12.
The car was resprayed by the previous owner, around 4 years ago. It looks stunning in fresh Sebring Red with black leather interior. Duri ng my ownership, I have had the following works undertaken-
Had the fuel system refreshed, with a refurbished fuel rail, many pipes replaced and a new fuel pump fitted..
The engine has been 'Terracleaned'.
Additional sound proofing replaced around the gearbox.
Had a new air conditioning system fitted by MDM - a Jaguar specialist.
Had new bonnet struts fitted.
New battery fitted
Had rear seatbelts fitted
Various spares are included including a spare windscreen and a second set of 5 wheels acquired - Jaguar 'Pepperpot' wheels, four new tyres fitted (not currently fitted to the car, as I prefer the 'Starfish' Alloys). In addition to the above, I have some (original?) stainless steel back boxes, if a quieter note is preferred. I have a sixth Starfish Alloy wheel (as currently fitted to the car), too.
The engine sound and driving experience is very engaging and great fun - so different from the original wafting, quiet version as it came out of the factory.
Here is a brief Youtube video of the engine starting up-

Looking for offers around £12,500 or possible part exchange for (2006 on) XK or XKR.
Any inspection welcome (Leicestershire based).

Nice cat :)

If only I had more space at home.... Mind you, having two manual V12 XJ-S might be seen as decadent
