I have acquired one only new JLM 10168 XJS sunroof deflector, I know not many XJS had a factory fit sunroof, but it may be of use to some one make me an offer before I put it on the bay of fleas

I have had one of these brand new in the box for many years , never got round to fitting it to my XJS with its factory glass sunroof

i have heard they fit the XJ40 and X300 as well,

any info ??

info indeed, they do not fit 300/308 or 40 imo , roof profile is wrong , or at least it appeared so when offered up to each car we have here

a search show the part nos for an XJS only, and yours is the only XJS I know of with a factory fit sunroof

i will check the part number on my version ,

i will have to get it out the box and see how it offers up , lol


rare part though , for a ' rare ' factory spec car ,

i was in contact with the person who developed the factory sunroof for the XJS , and he said that only a few were ever fitted , not sure on exact numbers, but less than one hundred if i recall,,
sunroof was made by Tudor Webasto , car pulled to the side in the factory , sunroof fitted with bespoke roof lining ( no card ) with a rear window cantrail , and then put back in the line, i will see if i can put up a pic of my production line spec sheet i got from jaguar showing the sunroof option

the proof for all those that say the XJS never had a factory sunroof ,lol
