XJS Crankshaft Position Sensor

Hi,
Would anyone have a crankshaft position sensor available for a 1989 3.6 XJS, part no. DBC 2139?

I'd be tempted to just buy a new one. Crank sensors can fail without warning so it may be false economy to buy another 25-year old one.

Wow, when did they become so expensive? I'm sure when I replaced mine it was about £30, some years ago mind. Maybe it is worth trying a 2nd hand one.

That's interesting. I wonder if Jaguar have had to get them remanufactured froma new supplier. This often seems to give rise to a big price jump.

With the expected JEC discount from your dealer, you should be able to get it for about £148 from Jaguar themselves.
