I have a new set of flexible brake hose (front and rear) to suit a XJS up to circa 1994. I purchased these whilst making a list of far too many parts to refurb my 1996 XJS, forgetting that mine has the later outboard/vented discs, and these have a banjo head fixing, not the more normal type that these have. The part numbers are: MHF5670AA and there are four of them in bags. Happy to post where you wish at cost. for sale at £20.00 the set. Watch out for more of my over the top purchases!! BUT, I'm a bit confused by the part numbers if you say they are all MHF5670AA?

MHF5670AA is the front hose for both your 96 XJS and for all facelift XJS from 1991.

However, the rear ones are different ones on all XJS, whether inboard or outboard. The very late XJS such as yours with outboard discs, but also vented, use MHF5670BA. But the earlier non-vented outboard disc cars from 93-95 use another different one.

So, they are the correct ones for your front brakes. But, I'm not sure why you would have 4 pipes with MHF5670AA on them? Are you sure that 2 of them don't have a different number?

Yes the rears on the late version have the square ends with a banjo bolt fixing, not the more normal type. They were supplied for my application, but they did not take into account of it having the vented outboard discs. I have decided to go for the stainless steel EBC flexible pipes rather than the more normal rubber ones, just me being over the top as is my want. So yes they are all the same part number.
