Facelift Front Seat Doeskin

I'm looking for a late doeskin half leather drivers seat. Any one know of one for sale. Mine is just about on it's last legs.

Nick,

Are you sure that it's doeskin? I didn't think they use doeskin on the leather & cloth combination, although I might well be wrong!

Hi Paul

You've got me thinking. I'm sure it is. When I acquired this car some eight years ago Jaguar (Guy Salmon) kindly provided me with a print out of the spec they had on file. I'll see if I can locate the paperwork. This relates to my BRG 1994 AJ16.

Nick,

The colour code is on a label above the left hand headlamp visible when bonnet is open.

Also, an AJ16 1/2 cloth seat is pretty rare anyway..in any colour. I don't want to depress you, but you may struggle to find one. Any chance of home refurbishment?

Cheers

Hi Paul

Thanks for that I will have a look at what the code says. In truth what the seat actually needs is a new foam base, its a little weak and consequently on a long drive a tad uncomfortable.

I've put off putting in a replacement full leather set because it is so unusual but may succumb one day.

Best wishes
Nick
