Re Core-Blimey

Sorted another niggle. For a while (well, some years!) I've had a tiny leak in one of the bottom corners of the rad. Lots of fins had also corroded away over the years so I had the radiator re-cored. I used a local firm, Abbey Heat Transfer in Eastleigh who have made a lovely job and a very quick turn around. (V12 rads are a more complicated design then the 3.6 so I don't know if Abbey would do those, worth asking though if you need it).

The old rad was installed in 1993 following front end damage so it had lasted well and considering its condition the car never overheated even during the past summer heatwave.

Looks good. It's surprising how bad they can get and you never really know until you take it out and look properly.
As for the V12, it's the end tanks that are more complex - the core is very similar to yours. I wouldn't think it costs any more.
