Hi Guys,
I never did close this out so by way of an update I thought I would add a few points,
The leak was minor but from the expansion vessel, it seems failure of these is not unusual so I had mine replaced.

I took the car to Ray at Surrey Jags, seems there were one or two issues with the underside and running gear.
Several related to things not being put back properly following maintenance works down the years other issues most likely the consequence of the car standing for long periods. Anyhow the out turn was a new (rebuilt) steering rack and a new set of shocks at the back, the car now sits with 1/4 inch of where it should level wise.

Sunny day today so;
Engine - start;
Roof - Down;
Drive :)

Thanks for the advice.
