Hi all, my name is Chris and I am the Manager of Swallows Racing.

We have been busy over the last 6 months developing some amazing new products that no only target common failure areas of these cars, but also improve on the factory design utilising on years of racing experience to create some really exciting products. I am working to create new products all the time so if there is something the owners would particularly like to see then please let me know and I would be happy to look into this for you.

The first complete project has been our suspension kit which is reverse engineered from our own XJS race car. This is now manufactured and 30 kits are ready for pre order and as an introductory offer to owners on this group I will have a limited number of kits at a special offer price of 10% discount. This will be open to the first 5 customers on a first come first serve basis.
We have partnered with one of the leading UK suspension manufactures AVO Technics to design and manufacture exclusive, tailor made suspension kits for the Jaguar range.

After extensive hours running chassis dynamics and testing on and off the race track we believe we have the perfect solution to the overly soft and ageing suspension systems of the XJS model, making the car ride as it should have when the cars were new.
Our development of the coilovers has lead us to develop the perfect road car kit which is also a fraction of the cost of the original manufacture replacements. Saving you on maintenance costs but giving you a huge performance benefit.
Ensuring that we cater for all enthusiasts with the ability to run the car at standard ride height or up to 25mm lower, as well as the ability to have very soft bump and rebound similar to standard or stiffer for track days at the simple turn of the adjusters on each coilover body. Damper bodies are hard coat anodised so there is no horrible flaking powder coat and the best bit is that these can be rebuilt by AVO at any time when needed in the future (No throwing away and needing new unlike other brands).
Our SR/AVO coilovers are THE modification to transform your XJS into the car it should have been, bringing the suspension technology up to date for the modern world.

The coilovers uniquely come in 3 different options depending upon the enthusiast, with options for smaller I.D AVO rear springs and slightly stiffer lowering springs at the front, Dampers with brand new standard Jaguar springs all around and finally the ability to purchase to the dampers on there own to fit the standard springs you currently have on the car to them. (The last option would only be recommended if you have recently replaced the springs on your car or would like to choose your own springs).

*If you would like fitting here on site then please allow a full day for fitting/ Ride height adjustment/ Corner weighting and 4 wheel alignment in order to perfectly set up your car to maximise these dampers. That looks a great piece of kit! If I hadn't changed a few years ago to Eibach springs and adjustable Gaz, I'd be very interested in those! I'm sure they'll be popular with anyone doing a rebuild or upgrade.

I think you will agree that genuinely it is one of the best modifications you can do to the XJS and could have done with being like this from factory to meet the sleek looks of the car.

Just bought these and fitting the front next week before we drop the rear. Went for the lowered spring on advice from Swallows bring standard height is actually too high compared to 30 year old springs and ride height sag over time. Hopefully all will be well however as they are adjustable we should get it perfect. I will report back once done.
