In the past I have seen advertised by Harvey Bailey Enginnering of after market front cross bracing for the pre face lift convertables
This fits I think from the front jacking points to the front of the car somewhere
This is similar to cross bracing on post face lift convertables
Have been trying to get in touch with HB but with out any joy
Does anyone know if they are still in existance
Or if anyone else does a similar part

Hi Dave
I fitted a Harvey Bailey brace about 6 yrs ago Works well but has some ground clearance issues. Cost in 2002 was £300
At the rear it bolts to the floor by the jacking points. At the front it bolts to the front subframe mounts. I can send you copy of fitting instructions if you are interested
Their website seems to be defunct http://www.harveybailey.co.uk/ but a google search revealed Harvey Bailey Engineering has recently joined the epm: technology group. I can find no mention of it on epm's website though. You try http://www.epmtechnology.com/

Hi I've recently had one fitted by classic jag spares at Waltham Cross, I'm sure it was £350 approx. I'm not in the country at the moment so can't confirm that price. It makes a much bigger difference than you would expect and I can't recommend it or CJ Spares enough
