Front Suspension Interchangeability?

Hi, I'm new to the group so apologies if this question has already been asked.

I have a '89 XJS 3.6 that needs the front suspension crossmember replaced due to corrosion. Are the crossmembers interchangeable between all XJS models? Thanks in advance for any advice.

The front cross member is the same in all XJ-S and XJ Series 1-3 models. Be careful when buying to make sure there is no structural corrosion. It may be best to find one from a V12 as they tend to leak more oil! The area to pay special attention to is the spring tower (but I guess you've already found that out!) and also make sure that the fulcrum shafts (especially the bottom one) can all be removed without damage as they rust in place.
