steering wheel removal

I have a 92 convertible and I want to remove the steering wheel,but im confused if whether I have a air bag or not! it has no markings on the wheel it self and I cant seem to find any thing on the car that would indicate it has one fitted,but on the back of the s/wheel it has the flap which has the deactivation switch for airbag! would this be there whether an airbag is fitted or not?if it hasn't got an airbag do just undo the two nuts on back? Are you sure that there are no markings on the wheel? There should be "SRS" on the airbag cover if one is fitted. If your VIN is later than 185820, you would normally have an airbag fitted.

If one is fitted, please read the Jaguar workshop manual thoroughly so that you understand the mechanism before removing the wheel. You need to take great care in disarming the bag and removing it.

No markings anywhere but airbag is fiited!! strange if I leave pin out does that leave it disabled?
