Updated My Sat Nav Disc

I bought an update disc from http://www.satnav-update.com

Paid £29 plus £3 P&P

Once inserted in the satnav unit, it only took about 5 mins to update the software and I now have an up to date version! Highly recommended service.

One thing to note, when updating, do not worry if the loading bar goes very quickly almost to end then takes time to complete.....it will eventually finish and then switch the satnav off. When you then turn it back on, you will see a newer message about use of satnav when driving etc. when you go to the version info, it will say, 2011-12. Simples!

On another unrelated note, I read in one of the most recent JEC mags about another S-Type owner of a 3L I think, getting around 36mpg? Well, over a total distance of 195 miles at an average speed of 65mph, I obtained a heady 33mpg from my new 4.2L V8!!! (Admittedly mostly M4 and M5 driving but still more than I ever expected!)
