Has anyone had a go at removing the rear factory fitted spoiler? I thought it would be easy bot after removing the boot lid trim can only find one nut each side and it won't shift after removing that one bolt. Its on my 93 facelift.

dunno about the facelift , but my 1989 coupe had 2 fixings each side,

one was hidden behing panelwork on the bootlid,

but your may well be different

thanks, that's what I suspected but couldn't see the other one behind the panelling. Maybe I'll have another try when I get some time.
It will probably need an open ended spanner.

Kevin,

If your spoiler is the very late one, ie NOT the one with a hole for the aerial, then I have an unfitted one waiting in my garage. If it helps, I'll send you some photos of the bolt fixings.
