Congratulations BB, that is looking wonderful!
When you say you've sold your house, does that mean that you have to get the S in roadworthy condition to move it?
There's something extremely satisfying about seeing before and after pics like that - so: what's next?!
I bet you can't wait to get the front put back together and looking as it used to...?

Simon,
thanx for the comments,
as to the house, we have juast agreed the sale, so all the other bits like surveys etc still have to be done, so i'm expecting about 12 weeks b4 she has to be moved ( with luck ),
she will not however be ' road worthy ' , as she wont have an MOT , she is however a rolling project ,and self powered , and as such will be able to put her on a trailor or hitch up for a tow , and we shall only be moving a few miles away, so not a major problem,
since the pics were taken yesterday afternoon, i was on her till 10pm last night fitting the front loom back into position after re-binding it in electrical tape , the headlight clips have been refurbished and re-installed along with the headlight wiper motors , i will fit the horns and other smaller items today,
the rads are out att he moment ( all 3 of them ) , and i have new/replacement units to fit, i am however waiting to get some heat onto the nuts of the oil cooler so i can fit a new oil cooler, i have an as new condenser to fit along with a very good rad that i got on ebay , this will marry up to the new kevlar pipes i installed a few weeks back along with my refurbished ballance pipe ( along with the small one on top of the rad brace )
so busy busy for a few weeks,
next major thing will be to repair the sill section of the passenger side ' A ' pillar where it rots out under the atmospheric recovery bottle , and then i have to tackly the drivers side rear buttress, as it to has rotted , lol
more rust than metal in my car
, but i'm loving every minute of it
as for the engine bay , that will be left as a winter project once she is up and running ,
good points....front chasis member is solid, as is the rear cage, floor and boot floor , windscreen scuttle and all window seals have no rust under them , the scuttle under the back window is also sound.....
once all the bodywork has been done it will be off for a professional paint job in original white that will involve all the glass coming out, bonnet off, doors off , and the body kit being painted off-car
wish me luck

I'm WELL impressed, I wouldn't like to take that on, fair play to you.
Did you get my pm's? Sorry to keep asking, but I don't know if the system is working or you just want to stay anonymous!
Best Wishes

All looking really special, BB, please keep the pictures coming!
I'm pleased you are keeping to white paint. White has gone through a bad patch the last few years although times are changing, even Top Gear are promoting it as being the next 'cool' colour
Pop (With a white 3.6
)
Well how topical! The white XJ-S got some coverage in the Sunday Times at the weekend: Model and filmstar Chloë Sevigny was interviewed about her car preferences and although the Toyota Prius was mentioned she went on to say:
“I’m really obsessed with the Jaguar XJS from the Eighties or a Porsche Carrera, again from the Eighties,” she grins, looking slightly guilty. “I’d have it in white, like a cocaine-dealer style. So if the acting work ever fell through . . .”
So there you are, I bought the wrong colour XJ-S. Damn!
