as my car was originally Glacier white, and as a ' sportspack ' equipped car, she had a twin set of pinstripes, these however had to be removed with all the bodywork that was carried out , but a good photo log was made of position etc.

i was really lucky over the years to find a full original set of pinstripes from Jaguar, this is not just one tape strung from front to back , but a set of eight decals that are shaped and have fitting markers to the application tape ( idiot proof , which i needed ) , these also had lots of spare where required to wrap round door edges etc ,

the colours are Flame red over Quicksilver ( RQ code ) ,

what do you think ?

lots of measuring, positioning, marking etc had to be carried out before application , and i took my time , Image

and , even if i say so myself, it aint a bad looking job..........

one thing to remember , this job is one of the last things to be done after fitting the doors and being happy , as putting on the pinstripe , and then moving the doors around will result in uneven lines, and we dont want that do we....

One serious car, Vince.

Looking forward to seeing the finished job.

Nice one! There is often debate around whether add the stripes back after a paint job. Personally, I think that they look great. I'm really liking the colour combo you've gone with!

When I needed some stripes for the off-side front wing, they were a b*gger to source in the right colour!

Cheers, Rich
