does anyone know where on the car i can find the body number its on my heritage certificate i would like to check

the body number , by this i assume you mean the VIN number , as the body number is on a spot welded tag under the rear bumper , and is nothing other than a production number assigned to the body shell


the VIN will be located under the windscreen scuttle in the engine bay , its stamped into a ' bib ' of metal that is usually painted black and the engine bay cross braces are bolted to , the VIN will be preceded and followed by an asterix

the other place for the VIN is on a stamped and painted plate mounted on the passenger side of the windscreen on the inside, but i think this place was only for the HE cars.....
