XJS 2+2 convertible facelift model bumper clips

Hi all

I'm trying to source a fixing bolt and clip for the rear bumper on my XJS. These are for where the bumper is fixed to the wheel arch. The existing one had seized and when I had the bumper resprayed they'd drilled it out and not replaced it. I've been trying to find the correct part number for these but it's proving difficult to get for such a small part. Does anyone know where I can source these? It's hanging on by just one at the moment and I'm concerned the bumper may get damaged.

Let me know if you need any further info (VIN number etc) and any help is much appreciated.

The info you've provided is not quite detailed enough so perhaps you could give year, cubic capacity, etc. even VIN?

However if you haven't already been there your first port of call should be Jaguars own classic parts site here......

Follow the links to your model and year, body, location etc. and at least it should give you an idea of what you're looking for even if not currently available from them. Be aware that some things aren't always where you expect them to be eg bumper bolts may be in bodyshell rather than bumpers!

I think the part number you are after is JFN106047.

If you put it in the search function of the site dh Dove mentions above, you should be able to find a picture.

If that is correct, then they are still available at 19p!

I agree with Al's diagnosis. If you've got a 2+2 convertible, then you've got the big plastic bumpers, in which case there are two clips one each side supporting the plastic cover to the lower rear wheel arch. And still available! Happy days!

As Tony mentioned, if you update your user profile & signature with your location and a reference to the year of your car. it does make it much easier for other members to be able to offer appropriate advice.

Signature now fixed.

I've ordered the nut and the clip, not sure if the former comes with a bolt or if it's a standard size I can source from B&Q or the like.
