Which stripes be which?

Hello there, i've just noticed that on my beast i have a set of light silver over red on the front wings but along the rest of the body i have a dark grey (pewter?) over red stripe. The car has been resprayed at somepoint under the coachlines on the entire car. So my question is how do i check which colours are correct for my vehicle. As i'd like them to match and be as correct as possible.

The parts catalogue has details of which colour went with what.

Unfortunately, my cat relates to vehicles from VIN 179737 onwards which I think is after yours, but for that, Arctic Blue (paint code JFE) is listed as having Flame Red over Pewter (code RB) coachlines. The alternatives were RQ (Flame Red over Quicksilver) and AQ (Amber over Quicksilver)

Yes just looking at the parts manual now and all it seems to do is list the colours and nothing specific for my VIN 168610. I think that by looking at the ones on the wing these are original with the light grey and red.

Is the light grey know as quiksilver or pewter, there doesn't appear to be an exact science to this so hopefully will have the right knowledge?

Oh by the way mine is a sportspack model, don't know if this helps.

if you look in the front of the ROM manual there is a chart for body colour with pinstripe colours

mine is quicksilver over flame red for a 1989 white coupe
