Rear drain holes

Afternoon folks, I'm currently looking at returning to the fold with an XJS.

Please could anyone advise whether a '94 facelift car should be equipped with drain holes within the boot lid aperture at the base of the rear screen / buttress area. I've seen photos of cars so equipped and also seen cars with no apparent drain holes in that vicinity which leads me to suspect those particular examples may have been subject of some filler work !

Advice is much appreciated !

Regards.

Dave.

Hi Dave

My 1994 facelift coupe has drain holes at the base of the rear screen in the drain channel at the base of the buttresses. Easily blocked with gunk. Best cleaned out with a small piece of wire and blown out with an airline....

Hope this helps.
