Where can I buy this Rubber grummet from

Hello everyone I have a problem buying this rubber grommet. It fit on a V12 6L (1993) Air filter box, almost front end of the air box. I have tried a few big Shop names, but Im told that Jaguar don't make them any more. So Im stuck
I would show some photo's but I cant work out how to show them, Please help. Thanks Phil

Phil,
It's difficult to know which grommet you mean without seeing a picture. However, there is a grommet in the air cleaner which is part number C16393. If this is the right one, then it's superseded by C8016 which is fitted in lots of different models and is still available from Jaguar.
Go into your local dealer and make them look it up on the system and see if it is this one. If so, it's only 30p + VAT!

Hello, just to let you know I do have the rubber grommet. It had to buy 10 of these little things. If anyone wants one please do get in touch .
Just a quick note, It dose not appear in the V12 6L Parts & Service Manuals 1992-1996. But does appear in the old 5.3 engine

Put them on EBay with a photo of where they fit and an individual 'buy now' only price.
Remember to say how rare they are and make sure you list them for every model that may potentially use it.
I'm betting on you getting back much more then you paid originally.

Phil,
Glad you were able to get the problem sorted.
It is mentioned on the 6 litre parts diagram by part number, but it doesn't actually show a picture of where it goes.
If you are thinking of selling the other ones, first go onto the Jaguar Classic Parts website
www.jaguarclassicparts.co.uk and type in C16393 in the Search field. You will then find out that this grommet is fitted in various areas of XJSs & XJ12s, including the air cleaner, braking system and windscreen washers! It really is a universal part!
