f you want to get inside the tube, you'll have to drill in from the end and access is obviously easier from the rear than from the front. However, if you want to acess the maiin sill chamber, then obviously you can do that by drilling in from the top, side or the ends.
Just a personal opinion, but if you've got a long lance extension then it might be easier to drill all access holes from the rear end of the sill.
Perhaps the easiest way would be to ring Alan Proctor and ask him how he does the sill and sill tube.
