Can I use mk2 wire wheels on an XJS?

Hi,
I'm thinking if buying a set of bolt on mk2 wire wheels. Can I use them on my XJS?

Is there anything else i need to consider? Do they creak???? Will they take the weight of the XJS??

I don't think the bolt pattern, offset etc will work. The XJS is a big heavy car and I'm not sure those wire wheels will be rated sufficiently.
There are wire wheel conversion sets that will fit and are properly rated - they were popular in the States.
Perhaps try Dayton?

I'd really suggest you got for the lattice if you're thinking of changing wheels. The bolt-on Dayton wires were just bought by owners in the US market. Quite a personal taste IMO. Not an option specified by Jaguar for UK cars.

If you're going for lattice wheels for a pre-facelift car, you might consider going for the facelift 16" lattice wheels as it gives a much easier modern tyre choice.
