Auto Window open close feature

My Brother in law showed me a 'trick' with his Skoda .... press the unlock button on the fob and keep it pressed. It unlocks then a few seconds later all the windows open. Also, press the lock button and keep it pressed, the car locks and a few seconds later all the windows close..

Im not sure if this is a fairly common feature on remote lock / unlock fobs but I never knew about it.

Anyway, tried it on my E-pace and it works. Tried it on the F-pace and ... it doesnt work! Maybe its a setting somewhere?

In settings, you need to tick the box which from memory is called, 'Global opening/closing'. Mike.

I am always suprised how effective this Global opening feature is. In hot weather, push the button on the key fob while approaching the car, and within a few seconds the hot air inside the vehicle is replaced with cooler air from outside the car.

Global opening and Global closing are two different settings on my I-Pace SE. These can be found under the 'Convenience' setting on the dashboard menu.

Yes, one tick from each box. Also changed to unlock all doors, not just drivers when opening. Lots of interesting settings to fiddle with actually!
