Hi, My 2017 F Pace 3 litre diesel will no longer start from the Jaguar remote app. If I try to start the car from the app I get a message saying reset the windows and try again. I have reset the windows following the instructions in the handbook but I still get the same message, has anyone got any ideas?

A bit of a stab in the dark but I recall the app was updated a little while ago. If you are not using the updated version, it might be worth updating it to see if that's the issue. Mike.

Re: Engine start from remote app.
At the risk of repeating the obvious, the window reset procedure on the F-pace is slightly different from some other models and should be carried out as follows:
Start the engine.
Operate the window control switch until the door window glass is in the fully closed position, continue to operate the window control switch for a further two seconds.
Release the window control switch.
Operate the window control switch in the closed position and continue to operate the window control switch for a further two seconds.
Operate the window control switch until the door window glass is in the fully open position (one-touch down).
NOTES:
If the door window motor initialization has been completed correctly, when the window control switch is operated, the door window glass should move to the fully closed position (one-touch up) automatically.
If the door window glass does not fully close automatically (one-touch up), repeat the complete procedure.
Operate the window control switch once to the close position.
Repeat the door window motor initialisation for each door window motor.
These instructions are taken from the workshop manual so may differ from those in your handbook.
Hope they help. Mike.

Re: Engine start from remote app.
Thanks again Mike,
I have followed your suggestion and both rear windows will not fully open with one touch they drop about two inches then go the whole way on the second touch. I have tried to reset several times still with no success.
I'll try to get to the garage and see if they can track the issue.
Thanks again
Stuart
