My 2017MY F Pace 2litre R Sport with just 12800 miles on the clock has just suffered a failed front wheel bearing. It has been replaced under warranty, but I am disappointed that it should have happened. There was another identical vehicle with the same problem in the garage at the time. Has anybody else had the same problem?
Re: Failed wheel bearing
Hello Sportbrake
Not an F-Type but both my S-Type and XF have had front wheel bearing failures both offside and nearside on both i.e. 4 in number. The S at a low mileage 25k Nearside and 40k Offside and done under Warranty and the XF at 50k Offside and 70k Nearside, outside of Warranty. The wheel bearing hub assembly is the same on most of these models including the F Type. These failures are nothing to do with pot-holes just simply Hub Bearing Assemblies produced to a price.
