AdBlue

AdBlue was mentioned in the magazine SUV section last month, which prompted me to check my figures. I've just added 10 litres at 88,400 miles having last added 10 litres at 81,274 which makes around 700 miles per litre ('250' model with AWD). That's quite a lot better than the figures mentioned.
I think that comes down to efficiency and the type of driving I do. My daily commute is 40 miles each way that I can do in about an hour, and regular long trips abroad that are around 500 miles each way, mostly done on motorways. Over the last few thousand miles I've been getting 45 mpg on diesel which I think is pretty good considering the size and performance of the car.
I had no idea my F-Pace used AdBlue until I did the first diesel fill! I was a bit alarmed, but of course subsequently found that other than it being a minor inconvenience (and more claptrap to go wrong, which it has!) it's nothing to be concerned about.
