HANDBRAKE auto adjusting mechanism

Hi all!
I completed the rebuilding of the braking system and -I must admit has been a very instructive experience. All was good at the end and I hope I' ll be able to show some pictures of the job.

Unfortunately I have a big problem at the moment that I can't sort out.
I reinstalled the 2 rear main brake calipers, then I installed the 2 corresponfding handbrake calipers, after the installation of the handbrake calipers, the self adj. mecha. is actuated so to make the correct play between the park position and free position.
On the right side, (passenger in Italy) it worked perfect such that when the HB lever is down the wheel can freely rotate, on the other side instead, when the tightening trim condition is reached by actuating the handbrake lever, even when the HB caliper lever is left touching it's STOP ( the caliper lever touches it's dead STOP position) the corresponding Left wheel is sligthly braked by the HB pads (that are new now).

Useless to say I removed and controlled this LEFT caliper at least 20 times, but there is nothing I can find. Possibly this problem was there since a long time because when I removed the calipers for maintenance the pads were almost to zero.

Basically the problem is that the self adjusting mechan. engages (CLICs) before the established point ( I think) and this makes the self adjusting machan. tighten a little more the caliper that, when released leaves a smaller space for the disc to rotate.

What can I do? Shall I replace the HB caliper? Is there an adjustment for this? I also checked the centralization of the main Brake Caliper and disc and it is OK.

Any suggestion is welcome as I am sadly STOPPED with my maintenance.

Thank you very much, Valter
