hi gentlemen, switching on the ignition gets the warning lights(abs and fluid level) on. the pump can be heard running, does not stop as it used to after 30 seconds, driving off the lights remain on, the brakes appear normal in use, the fluid level is normal. Opening the bonnet with the engine still running reveals that the pump attached to the round accumulator is still running and is hot to touch, help please!! thanks, Mike.

warning lights and pump running.
Most likely fault is the accumulator sphere losing its pressure charge.
Pleiades http://www.citroen-hydraulics.com can re-charge them as long as the diaphragm is OK. They did mine a few years ago and its still working fine.
The pump isn't rated to run continuously, so be careful not to burn it out - very expensive.

warning lights and pump running.
Today was a hot day(for England) approaching 29C, after lifting the bonnet on my driveway for 30 minutes the accumulator area felt cool to the touch so I tried again, the pump stopped after 30 seconds and the lights are out, I started the engine and all remained normal. could this fault be due to the highish ambient temperature? mant thanks, Mike.
